Abu Jahl and the Camel Seller

Once Abu Jahl purchased a camel in Mecca from an Arab who was not an inhabitant of Mecca. However, he did not pay its price to the Arab. The Arab went to the Quraish with the complaint. They mocked at him.  In a jest they told him to approach Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.)(Abu Jahl was the  foremost enemy of the Prophet) as he would help him to get his money. He approached Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) with his plea. Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) took him to the house of Abu Jahl. Abu Jahl welcomed Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.). Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) asked him to pay the price of the camel to the Arab. Abu Jahl went inside his house and returned with the money and paid it to the Arab. People mocked at Abu Jahl for accepting the words of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.). He replied to them saying that, “I saw a thing which you did not see. I saw a lion, if In would have rejected Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) request, the lion would have killed me.

On the way, one day at Johfa I headed for Ghadeer, which is at a distance of four miles from Johfa. I reached there and prayed in the Masjid and after that I supplicated Almighty Allah very fervently; but the aim was not fulfilled there also. So I went to Asfan and thus passing each stage in turn, reached Mecca. I stayed there for some days and was engrossed in Tawaf and other devotions. One night, when I was doing the Tawaf, I noticed an extremely handsome and fragrant young man walking about and doing the Tawaf of the Kaaba. Some feelings arose in my heart; I moved towards him and touched him. He asked: Where do you belong to? I said: Iraq. He asked: Where in Iraq? I said: ...
