When Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) recited the verse of Surah Najm, Verse 1 & 2 (“I swear by the star when it goes down. Your companion does not err, nor does he go astray”), a person from Quraish said: I deny the Lord of the Star. When Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) hear this, he said: ’May Allah overpower a lion on you’.
That person along with his friends went on a travel to Shaam. On the way, he saw a lion. He became afraid and started shivering. His friends tried to calm him down but he was overwhelmed by the sight of the lion. He then informed that Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) has cursed him and the skies have not shadowed any one more truthful than Mohammad (s.a.w.a.). He did not touch his sinner. He slept in the night surrounded by his friends. Lion came in the night and came to the person and finished him. Before dying he said to his friends: ‘Didn’t I say to you that nobpdy his truthful than Mohammad.’

Incident of Ibne Mahziyar Ahwazi

Ali Ibne Ibrahim bin Mahziyar narrates one year when the Hajj season arrived, I prepared for the journey and set out to Medina. When I reached Medina, I inquired from the people about the descendants of Imam Hasan Askari (a), but could not get any information. I was very much worried and at last set out for Mecca. On the way, one day at Johfa I headed for Ghadeer, which is at a distance of four miles from Johfa. I reached there and prayed in the Masjid and after that I supplicated Almighty Allah very fervently; but the aim was not fulfilled there also. So I went to Asfan and thus passing each stage in turn, reached Mecca. I stayed there for some days and was engrossed in Tawaf and other devotions.
