Paralysis of hand

A person raised his whip to strike at the thigh of Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.). Imam became furious at him. Upon the gesture of His Eminence, his hand froze and his whip remained in his hand and he was unable to move his hand. He adjured His Eminence to forgive him. His Eminence forgave him and upon the gesture of His Eminence, which was a gesture of mercy, his hand was cured and he was freed.
